How to change Character Settings In Putty

 

1. Open PuTTy

2.Click Translation.

3. There it shows the character set dropdown.

4. Now select the character set you’d like to use. Ensure that your computer supports the character set

5. Click Session to save the new settings.

The character set has been changed and saved
